The 2025 Women’s University Winter League Final will take place at the FLAIR Stadium in Dewsbury this Sunday (9 March, KO 2pm) with a blockbuster clash between the University of Liverpool and Northumbria University 1s set to take place.
Northumbria were crowned victorious in the competitions inaugural season and come into Sunday’s final off the back of an unbeaten season.
They’ll face a determined University of Liverpool side who recently overcame rivals University of Manchester in a gripping 22-18 contest to see them secure second place in the league table.
The Women’s University Winter League was introduced by the RFL towards the end of 2023 to serve as an opportunity for new and current players to represent their University in Rugby League in a regular competition and the second ever winner will be crowned on Sunday.
