Robert has overall responsibility for the management of the Safeguarding Team including ensuring compliance with the relevant legislative framework that underpins the Safeguarding Policy.
Robert, a qualified solicitor with over 10 years PQE has been a member of the Safeguarding Case Management Group since he joined the RFL in 2011. During that time he has assisted with the compliance work and risk assessment processes of the team from a legal perspective.
Barry Pollin, Safeguarding Manager
Responsible for promoting safeguarding, implementing changes, and ensuring safeguarding practices are adhered to throughout the game.
In addition, Barry is responsible for supervising the safeguarding case management process, acts as first point of contact in all issues around safeguarding and is the case manager for all referrals to the RFL for other statutory agencies and partners.
